BC Bus North Announces New Winter Schedule

John Crawford

With winter on the way, a new schedule has been issued for BC Bus North -- the provincially-subsidized replacement for Greyhound.

BC Transit says the buses will be arriving earlier and wait times between arrivals and departures on the way will be reduced.

However, travel days remain the same.

The new schedule takes effect on Monday.

On the route between Prince Rupert and Prince George, the bus still leaves at each end at 8 am, but arrives at 7:25 pm, which will be 25 minutes earlier.

And some departure times on the way are earlier.

Also, the stop in Telkwa has moved from the Post Office to the One Stop Shop.

As always, reservations are required to ride the BC Bus North.

You can book online or by phone.
