The Prince Rupert Rampage and Terrace River Kings now share top spot in the Central Interior Hockey League standings.

The Rampage defeated the Kitimat Ice Demons 7-4 at Tamitik Friday night, then outscored the River Kings 8-5 in a head-to-head showdown Saturday night at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre, with Rogers Hometown Hockey on hand to watch.

That was Terrace's first loss of the season.

The Ice Demons, meantime, rebounded from their loss Friday, to defeat the Smithers Steelheads 3-2 Saturday at the Smithers Civic Centre.

Kitimat scored twice in the third period to earn the victory, which moves the Ice Demons into fifth place in the standings, one point ahead of the Hazelton Wolverines.
