Ken Edzerza was elected vice president and Adrian Carlick was elected secretary treasurer.

Ten Family Representatives to the government were also elected, four of them by acclamation  -- full results below.

Under Chad Day's leadership, the Tahltan Government has increased its involvement in the mineral industry, and recently signed a cooperation and benefits agreement with Seabridge Gold, regarding the KSM gold and copper mine northwest of Stewart.

In late May, the Tahltan signed a Collaboration Agreement with Geoscience BC, which sets out how the organizations will work together on completed, ongoing and potential future earth science research in Tahltan Territory.

But the Tahltan also recently issued a warning to the province to halt jade and placer mining activities in their territories around Dease Lake, saying those activities were harming the environment and did not respect Tahltan rights and title.
