Kitimat Cram-a-Cruiser event this weekend at Kyle's No Frills

Kitimat residents are being invited to "Cram a Cruiser" this weekend.

The local RCMP will be setting up in the parking lot of Kyle's No Frills tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am to 3pm, collecting donations for the Kitimat Food Bank.

It's being held in conjunction with a food drive, being carried out by Kyle's, which has already collected over eight thousand donated items.

Last weekend, it was Terrace's turn, with the ninth annual "Cram-a-Cruiser" food drive generating four truck-loads of food for the Terrace Churches Food Bank and the Salvation Army.

Terrace RCMP staff, officers and auxiliary constables, volunteers, and sheriffs also collected about two thousand dollars in cash and gift card donations.
