Meyer named CMSD Superintendent on permanent basis

John Crawford

The Coast Mountains School Board has announced that Janet Meyer has now accepted an offer to assume the position of Superintendent of Schools on a permanent basis.

Meyer has been serving as Acting Superintendent, since last June, when Katherine McIntosh took a leave of absence following months of controversy over plans to reassign three school administrators.

McIntosh has since been seconded (sek-KAWN'-ded) to the Ministry of Education, and will not be returning to School District 82.

Meyer has served in the Coast Mountain School District for many years,  as a teacher, a principal, a Director of Instruction and Director of Human Resources.
