Terrace RCMP Ask For More Tips in November Hit-and-Run Fatality

John Crawford

Police continue to investigate last month's fatal hit-and-run collision west of Terrace -- and they're hoping to generate more tips by releasing a photo of the suspect vehicle.

Sometime between 3am and 7am on Sunday, November 18th, 30-year-old Cameron Kerr was struck and killed by an on-coming vehicle, as he walked along the shoulder of Highway 16 from New Remo toward Terrace.

A few days later, police on Haida Gwaii located a pick-up truck, with a boat and trailer attached to the back, which was suspected of being the vehicle involved, and they took a suspect into custody.

But they're still asking people who might have information,  no matter how insignificant it may seem, to contact Terrace RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
