The NDP riding association has organized a tour that starts Friday at the Unifor Hall in Kitimat.

The party has approved Amanda Ramsey, Taylor Bachrach, Annita McPhee and Greg Brown as contenders for its nomination.

After Kitimat's event, they'll move on Fishermen's Hall in Prince Rupert on Saturday afternoon.

Then May 3rd, they'll be in Terrace -- followed by Smithers on the 4th and Hazelton on the 5th.

Party members will make their choice May 25th in Terrace.

Long-time NDP M.P. Nathan Cullen announced last month he wouldn't be running again.

The Conservatives have choosen former Kitimat Councillor Claire Rattee as their candidate, while Rod Taylor will run again for the Christian Heritage Party. The Liberals and Greens haven't announced candidates yet.
