CIHL: River Kings Hand Rampage Their First Loss of Season

John Crawford

The Prince Rupert Rampage have suffered their first loss of the Central Interior Hockey League season.

Ben Reinbolt's goal with just under six minutes left in the third period stood up as the winner, as the Terrace River Kings edged the Rampage 4-3 at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre.

Meantime, Wilf Robbins' goal in double overtime gave the Williams Lake Stampeders an 8-7 victory over the Quesnel Kangaroos.

So Prince Rupert and Williams Lake are once again tied for the league lead with identical 6-and-1 records.

Terrace, meantime, has pulled into a tie with Quesnel for third place in the standings -- both sit at 3-and-4.
