Stewart RCMP Investigate School Vandalism

John Crawford

Members of the Stewart RCMP are investigating a report of vandalism at Bear Valley School.

Police say sometime overnight, someone spray-painted an inappropriate picture and words on the school's gymnasium wall.

Constable Rob Gardner -- the acting Detachment Commander -- says some of the graffiti was very disturbing, and not the sort of thing kids need to be exposed to.

He also warns that anyone caught vandalizing property could be charged with mischief.

If you can help police find whoever is responsible, contact Stewart RCMP or the anonymous Crime Stoppers line.
