Burns Lake Marks Grim Anniversary

Breakfast to be held today, marking six months since mill explosion/fire

   Today marks the six-month anniversary of the devastating explosion and fire that destroyed the Babine Forest Products sawmill near Burns Lake.   Two people were killed and 19 others injured in the disaster.
   This morning, a special breakfast will be held at the Marguerite Patrick Memorial Hall in Burns Lake to mark the anniversary, and to discuss the future. 

   Meantime, B-C Jobs Minister Pat Bell will hold a province-wide news briefing to update the recovery efforts in Burns Lake.
