The Terrace Motocross Association continues to pursue its efforts to attract national racers.
The association has been renovating and upgrading its course near the Northwest Regional Airport, and Treasurer Sue Kawinsky says students from Northwest Community College have been doing a lot of the work -- which benefits them too.
"The students come out and drive the equipment and push dirt around and theyre actually building with their time so it's good for the students to see what they're working towards."
Association director Francis Guerin says the track still needs more technical obstacles to attract the pros -- but he hopes that can be done in the next two or three years.
