Nechako Lakes M-L-A John Rustad says Burns Lake residents are about to see physical work being done to prepare the site for the village's new hospital.

Yellowridge Construction of Port Moody has won the 1.3-million-dollar site-preparation contract.   A sub-contract to move the nurses' residence has gone to Nickel Brothers.  Site prep is expected to begin next week

Northern Health is still shortlisting firms for the design-build contract for the new hospital itself.   The new facility is expected to be ready for use in 2015.
