An apartment complex in Houston has gone up in flames.
Police and fire crews were dispatched at around 8:20 last night, and R-C-M-P Sergeant Stephen Rose says it took all night to make sure everything was safe.
"Fire crews were on the scene for the better part of 12 hours to extinguish and control the fire, and as far as we know, there wasn't no fatalities or serious injuries from the residence," said Rose.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation. In the meantime, the Salvation Army is organizing a collection of donations of furniture, clothing, etc, for the 15 familes affected, at the Houston Shopping Centre - until next Wednesday.
