Prince Rupert Cruise Season Sees Adjustments
Prince Rupert will be waiting a little longer than first expected to see a cruise ship dock.
The first ship will now arrive on May 29th.
Another vessel with 2000 passengers on board was expected on May 16th -- but has since canceled its docking at the Northland Cruise Terminal.
Officials say it's not uncommon to see adjustments in the schedule throughout the year -- as different cruise lines can make last minute destination changes.
Two hundred people will be visiting Prince Rupert during the May 29th visit. The cruise season is expected to see 10,000 passengers visit the coastal city.
