Search Continues for Missing Prince George Woman

5/19/2017

Prince George RCMP are appealing for tips as the search continues for a missing woman.

Fifty-five-year-old Roberta Marie Sims was reported missing Sunday -- and police say her disappearance is very suspicious and out-of-character, and foul play IS suspected.

The Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit has been called in to lead the investigation.

Corporal Craig Douglass says Sims was normally with her dog -- but the dog has been found, as has Sims' dark red 2003 Chevy Trailblazer.

Police are asking anyone who might have seen Sims or her dark red 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer since May 1 to contact them (see photos below).

Sims is about five-foot-four inches tall, and weighs about 155 pounds -- she has long strawberry-blonde hair and blue eyes.

She also has several tattoos on her left upper arm and upper chest -- and a tattoo of a robin on the right side of her neck.
