Murder Charge Laid in Connection With Thursday Death South of Francois Lake
A charge has now been laid in connection with the killing of a 59-year-old man on the south side of Francois Lake early yesterday morning.
Late this afternoon, Corporal Madonna Saunderson [pictured at left] of the North District RCMP said "first degree murder charges have now been laid in connection with that -- and Albert Giesbrecht, 66, is scheduled to make a court appearance on Tuesday May 23rd in provincial court in Burns Lake in connection with the homicide that claimed the life of Raymond George Bishop."
Police have not released the cause of Bishop's death.
Saunderson says anyone with information regarding what happened yesterday morning is asked to contact Burns Lake RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

Albert Giesbrecht, 66 years of age has been charged with 1st Degree murder in connection with the death of Raymond George Bishop, 59 years of age. Mr. Bishop was found deceased on the south side, Francois Lake on Thursday May 18th 2017
Giesbrecht is schedule to make his next court appearance on Tuesday, May 23rd 2017 in Provincial Court in Burns Lake.
