Terrace to Hold Public Forum on Tent Camp and Homelessness

John Crawford

The issue of homelessness -- and its related challenges -- will be the focus of a public meeting next month in Terrace.

City Council recently held a Committee of the Whole meeting regarding the tent camp that's been set up on private property along the Skeena River, near the Dudley Little Bridges -- and decided to offer the public a chance to provide input on camp -- and on the issue of homelessness.

The forum will take place on Tuesday, September 3rd -- just after Labour Day -- in the Sportsplex Banquet Room.

Speakers will be required to provide their names and addresses, before being allowed to make a presentation of up to three minutes.
