Shames Reduces Operations

Citing lower than average snowfall and a poor economy, Shames Mountain will no longer operate on Wednesdays.

The Shames Mountain Ski Corporation says poor attendence has led to a "prudent" measure of only operating Thursday through Sunday.

Staff say improved crowds could lead to increased operating days.

The Mountain still intends to open for a full 7-day week during Spring Break in March.
