Morning Show Host-Energy FM

Fort St. John's Energy FM is looking for its next on-air personality! Astral Media Radio is looking for an energetic, experienced broadcaster to fill a morning show announcer position.  The successful applicant should be a team player with a great work ethic, love of the business and the hits/hot ac format, and have genuine interest in current events of the communities that we broadcast to.

Responsibilities:

• Regular on-air shifts 6-10 am Monday through Friday
• Preparing, planning, and executing your live morning show including researching and conducting interviews
• Must be available for Remote broadcasts and station appearances
• Voice tracks

Skill requirements:

• Professional presentation,
• Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking skills

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in broadcasting, or related experience.
• 1-3 years on-air experience
• Knowledge of Music Master/Maestro an asset
• Strong references
