Kitimat Apartment Building Destroyed by Fire

Dozens of Kitimat residents are homeless today, after an apartment building on Baxter Street went up in flames today.

The blaze broke out at around 10 this morning.  No injuries have been reported, but RCMP Sergeant Brendan McKenna says a lot of people have lost their homes.  

He says those affected DO have a place to turn.  "There's a reception centre being set up at the top floor of the Kitimat Fire Hall, for anybody who's lost their home now, and anybody who's related and wants to check on their family.

The cause of the fire hasn't yet been determined.
