Sportsplex Finally Ready

The Terrace Sportsplex will finally be ready for action this coming weekend.  City Councillor Brian Downie says, while there are still a few small items to take care of, the second arena will be available for the Provincial Lacrosse Championships.

Downie says the new building will also be busy next month, with Riverboat Days activities and a hockey school.  The official opening will take place in mid-September. The Sportsplex was plagued by delays due to weather, budget and construction concerns.
