COVID exposure at Suwilaawks Community School

According to a Northern Health bulletin, a COVID-19 exposure occurred at the Suwilaawks Community School in Terrace between November 29th and November 30th. This follows a recent exposure reported a week ago at Centennial Christian School.

Although no details have been released, Northern Health has assured residents that appropriate actions, including following up with anyone having close contact, were taken. 

Northern Health reminds all parents to monitor their children until December 14th for COVID symptoms.

Superintendent of Coast Mountain School District 82, Janet Meyer, reminds everyone that they are committed to transparency in notifying the school community of any reported exposure once directed to do so by public health.
