The latest water quality advisory for Kitimat has been lifted.
A notice from the District of Kitimat says it's been lifted in consultation with Northern Health.
The advisory was issued on December 6th after heavy rain caused high turbidity in the Kitimat River.
Meanwhile, a precautionary boil water advisory will continue for several days at least for users of the Thornhill Community Water System due to a different issue.
The Kitimat-Stikine Regional District said lab tests had found the presence of coliform bacteria which could cause illness.
It says flushing had begun and further sampling would be done.
The next update is expected Friday.
