Northern Health Updates School Exposures

Kathy Brookes

Northern Health has updated its list of COVID-19 school exposures to make it clear who should be continuing to monitor themselves for symptoms over the holidays.

On its website, the health authority has now posted when the period for self monitoring will end for exposures at five schools in the Northwest -- Mountain View Christian Academic in Thornhill, Thornhill Primary, Caledonia Secondary in Terrace, Smithers Secondary and Walnut Park also in Smithers.

The end dates range from tomorrow to New Year's Eve.

As well, another airline flight exposure out of Terrace dating back to December 9th has been posted by the B.C. Centre for Disease Control.  It was an Air Canada Jazz flight 8243 to Vancouver.  It says people in rows 12 to 18 are advised to monitor themselves for symptoms.
