The City of Terrace will discuss concerns over proposed Official Community Plan

Terrace residents will finally have a chance to have council hear their views on proposed Official Community Plan amendments related to a controversial project.

The proposed inland port would facilitate the transfer of goods between trucks and trains  and provide space to some new businesses.

The public hearing will held online only tomorrow starting at 5 pm.

Council will receive a report containing all the letters received. 

That includes those received before the formal notification and engagement  and those obtained during the notification and consultation period and all feedback received through the Virtual Open House.

There will then be a special council meeting Friday during which council will decide whether to approve the OCP changes.
