Two additional COVID-19 cases at LNG Canada site in Kitimat

An additional two employees have tested positive for COVID-19 at the LNG Canada site in Kitimat.
 
This brings the total number associated with the outbreak to forty-three employees.
 
Thirty-four of these cases remain active, while nine are considered recovered.
 
Seventeen people are in self-isolation at the project site.
 
Everyone else is in isolation in their home communities.
 
On-site screening of employees, contact management and tracing is continuing.
 
There are still no public exposures in Kitimat or the surrounding area at this time.
