Woman Suffers Critical Injuries in ATV Crash South of Terrace

A woman is in critical condition, following an All Terrain Vehicle collision on Matson Road, south of Terrace, last night.

RCMP say the woman was believed to be operating an ATV, which rear-ended another ATV which she was following, causing her vehicle to flip.

The collison happened at around 8pm last night.

The woman was rushed to hospital where she remains in critical condition.

Police say neither the woman nor the operator of the other ATV were wearing helmets.

RCMP believe alcohol was a factor -- but they are still investigating.

 A woman is in critical condition following an ATV collision on Matson Road Thursday night.

Around 8 p.m. May 23, 2019, Terrace RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision involving two ATVs on Matson Road. According to reports, the woman’s ATV rear-ended another ATV she was following, causing her vehicle to flip. The woman was taken to hospital and remains in critical condition.

Neither party was wearing a helmet. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.

Police are investigating.
