If you're looking for a way to get rid of your Christmas tree for free - you'll have an opportunity this January 4th at the lot behind the Terrace Curling Club, 3210 School st.
The Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine and the City of Terrace have partnered to bring Chipping for Charity to Terrace and the surrounding area.
Bring it down to the Terrace Curling Club on January 4 from 10am to 2pm. The event partners will chip and dispose of the tree at no cost to you. In lieu of payment, donations of non-perishable items for the food bank will be accepted.
The event is being supported by Raincost Arboriculture and E360S.
