Collision on Highway 37 claims two lives

On November 6, 2024 at approximately 10:30 pm, Terrace RCMP received a report of a single vehicle roll over on Highway 37 South near Hansen Road. One witness reported seeing the vehicle hydroplane and go off the road before landing upside down submerged in water.
RCMP, Terrace Fire, Thornhill Fire, Kitimat Fire, BC Ambulance Service and Terrace Search and Rescue were all in attendance at the scene.
The two occupants of the vehicle did not survive the collision. RCMP are not releasing the identities of the deceased.
No further information is being released at this time.
