Construction workers were back on site and making progress on the Sewer and Water Replacement Project on Graham Avenue.

This is a project that has been the source of much frustration for certain Terrace residents, as was made clear at a City Council meeting towards the end of May.

The frustration mainly stems from the fact that a series of unfortunate events have led to the project being delayed and it's cost has risen a fair bit from it's initial projection.

Delays have resulted from crews discovering that natural gas utilities were located in their work area, which wasn't known about before hand, as well as groundwater from melting snow seeping into the work space as well.

Also, the project now is likely to cost $4.74 Million instead of the original projection of $2.59 Million.
