In the downtown part of Terrace where some heavily armed police officers were seen at a laneway just behind St. Matthew's Anglican Church on Lazelle Avenue. The officers arrival not only included multiple standard police vehicles, but even a giant SWAT one as well, and as a result of the police presence, traffic in the area was held up for a while.
The police ended up raiding one of the houses located in the laneway as they reportedly force the front door open during the operation. More information to come later.
Later in the day, a house in the same area somehow caught on fire, although it's not clear if they were related
