Further details have now been released on the Motor Vehicle Incident that happened in Cedarvale yesterday afternoon.
Police say at 4:37 on December 4th, New Hazelton RCMP were notified of a collision on Highway 16.
Police attended and located a Chevrolet Traverse and a Western Star Tanker that had been involved in a collision.
Sadly, the driver of the Chevrolet was deceased at the scene.
The driver of the semi was reportedly uninjured.
The semi was west bound on the highway when the Chevrolet crossed the centre line and struck the semi.
The investigation is ongoing and there are no further details at this time.
