PRINCE RUPERT, B.C. -- Northern Health has revised its public health orders to allow indoor worship services, but attendees over the age of 11 have to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Attendance is also limited to 50 per cent capacity.

Virtual or drive-in worship services can continue to be held without a proof of vaccination.

The health authority's revised gatherings and events will cover the entire northern health region and will take effect on midnight, December 10th.

Oher parts of the order remain unchanged. Bars and nightclubs must remain closed, while restaurants have to stop liquor sales at 10 p.m.

Gatherings at personal residences are limited to 10 fully-faccinated people indoors and 25 outdoors. Indoor and outdoor events are also limited to 50 per cent capacity.

The revised orders are set to expire on January 31st, 2022.
