The 'Ksan society has put out a release that they intend to operate a Temporary Winter Shelter at their Turning Points Housing Connections on Lakelse avenue.
The building is currenly home to the Homeless Prevention Program, Community response to HIV/HCV, and the 'Ksan Administration office.
The shelter will operate as an overnight-only overflow shelter with 10 beds between 7pm and 7am.
There will be no day programming provided at the location.
The Temporary Winter Shelter program replaces the prior Extreme Weather Shelter program funded by BC housing.
