This Saturday will see the City of Prince Rupert play host to an annual event that will be located at the Highliner Hotel and Conference Centre.
The event known as the Sugar Shack is entering it’s 16th year and is put on by a French organization called AFFNO.
It will start at 10 AM on January 31st and despite it usually being a celebration of French-Canadian culture, this year will see it try something different by mixing in Colombian culture as well.
Music in English, French and Spanish will be playing and attendees will also be able to try out the usual maple-inspired dishes alongside the new Colombian food flavours.
