A majority of the Northwest, including communities such as Terrace, Kitimat, Smithers, Kitwanga and Rosswood, are currently under a high avalanche danger rating and it’s expected to last for most of today.
And while the rating is expected to lower towards the end of today, the rating won’t completely go away as it’s expected to hold at considerable for Wednesday and Thursday.
