The BC Provincial government announced that they are appointing a pair of judges to the Provincial Court.
The judges in question are named Diba Majzub and Megan Olson and they were appointed in order to better support more timely and efficient access to justice.
Majzub will serve on the Port Coquitlam Judiciary after having practiced for over two decades while also working with the United Nations.
And Olsen will join the Smithers Judiciary after working as a managing lawyer at the Parents Legal Centre in Smithers.
She also has experience in both criminal defence law and Indigenous law.
