The Province of BC’s minimum wage is set to increase in a few days.

On June 1st, British Columbia workers will be paid no less than $18.25, a 2.1 percent increase from the previous minimum wage of $17.85, based on BC’s average monthly inflation rate in 2025.

This change was made with the intent of supporting the province’s lowest paid workers, the ones that are most affected by the rising cost of living.
