The BC River Forecast Centre recently upgraded a High Streamflow Advisory that had been in place for the North Coast to a Flood Watch.
The watch covers tributaries along the outer coast and inland areas as well, including communities such as Prince Rupert, Kitimat and Terrace.
Members of the public are being advised to stay clear of any fast flowing rivers that might be near them.
