The Chetwynd RCMP posted an article that said a potential threat being aimed towards the local secondary school was determined to be unfounded.

The Police got word of that potential threat via an email at the end of last week but a thorough investigation found that the anonymous email had no evidence to support it’s claims.

Chetwynd’s RCMP ended their statement by saying that they’ll continue to work with local schools to ensure everyone’s safety.
