The ongoing Central Interior Hockey League season only saw a couple of games played this past weekend.
Both of those games featured the Hazelton Wolverines and it ended up being a less than ideal stretch for the team as they lost a 7-9 shootout to the Williams Lake Stampeders on Saturday and then lost again on Sunday to the Quesnel Kangaroos on Sunday.
The end of this week will feature three matchups in the league as the Wolverines try to bounce back against the Terrace River Kings in the Cameron Kerr Memorial Game, The Stampeders and Kangaroos will turn their attention to one another and the Smithers Steelheads and the Kitimat Ice Demons will face off as well.
