The City of Prince Rupert recently announced that one of their local park trails was being closed down temporarily.
The trail in this case is located in McClymont Park and it was closed down due to rising waters from Hays Creek flooding part of the trail.
This announcement also lines up with the recently lifted Flood Watch that was put into place for the North Coast by the BC River Forecast Centre earlier this week.
The City of Prince Rupert said they would provide an update once it’s available.
