The City of Prince Rupert recently put out an update on some street closures that have been going on a bit longer than originally anticipated.
Frederick Street, Prince Rupert Boulevard and Shawatlans Road were the areas mentioned in the update and it said that Shawatlans is not accessible through the Industrial Park as work on that area’s project is paused while the next phase of it designed.
As for Frederick Street, it’s first phase of construction is done as it’s primary water main was installed.
The road on that street is being temporarily paved and reopened so the public can access it once again.
