Along with it being the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, yesterday was also the last day that people could camp in Terrace at the local campground.
The Ferry Island campground’s main gate is now closed as we are firmly in the midst of fall and winter will be here before we know it.
However, people can still access Ferry Island for other activities like dog walking, playing on the playground, traversing the trails and more.
