The City of Terrace recently reported that a bear had been spotted on the Howe Creek Trail not too long ago.
As a result of this sighting, the City is reminding residents who go out on trails to keep bear safety tips on their mind.
Namely, people are being advised to talk or sing to avoid surprising a bear, don’t wear headphones and be aware of your surroundings and try not to walk alone if it can be helped.
