Earthquake Canada has posted a notification to alert people that there was a 4.3 magnitude earthquake recorded off the coast of Northern BC.
They stated that the quake struck at 6:25 AM about 93 kilometres southeast of Daajing Giids, near Haida Gwaii.
The agency also said the earthquake was recorded at a depth of 25 kilometres.
There have been no reports of damage resulting from the earthquake, and none are expected.
Emergency Management BC went out of their way to remind residents to seek cover if they start to feel shaking.
