Anyone who is planning on being at the Tamitik Jubilee Sports Complex in the morning next Thursday might have to least tweak their plans.
The District of Kitimat announced that the Complex’s staff and the Kitimat Fire Department will be conducting an ammonia leak drill at the facility on April 30th from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
Anyone at the facility during that time may notice emergency personnel and equipment and they’re being asked to follow any directions that they might be given as if an actual emergency were happening.
