The District of Kitimat just announced that they have made it possible for people to apply for building permits and inspections online.
This was made possible by the District joining up with Cloudpermit, an online platform that is dedicated to simplifying community development for municipalities and agencies in Canada.
Other communities like Terrace are already using the platform as well.
The District also mentioned that they were very excited to make their process surrounding building permits and inspections more efficient and transparent.
