The District of Kitimat recently announced that the Haisla Nation and themselves will be teaming up to host this year’s annual Kitamaat Open Basketball Tournament.
This is the 19th edition of the tourney and it will run from April 17th to 19th at both Haisla and Kitimat venues.
The tournament originated back in 2005 from an idea that was championed by various high profile figures such as Ellis Ross, Keith Nyce and Joe Iannarelli.
