The District of Kitimat recently notified the public that they are placing their water system under a water quality advisory due to elevated turbidity levels.
While the advisory is in effect, Northern Health is recommending that elderly people, kids, pregnant women and people with weaker immune systems boil their water to be safe.
The advisory will remain in effect until the District says that it is lifted and they are working with Northern Health on this matter.
